John is a South Gloucestershire Councillor for the ward of Bradley Stoke South.
John is also has several Committee appointments including; Chair of the South Gloucestershire Local Strategic Partnership, the Audit and Accounts Committee, the Adults, Housing and Public Health Committee, the Environment and Community Services Committee, the West of England Partnership Planning Housing and Communities Board as well as a member of several Joint Meetings; the Development Control Committees and the Development Control (East) Committee, Development Control (West) Committee and Environment and Community Services Committee.
