Local Councillors are working with the community, and other Parties, to save Stoke Lodge from being fenced off and enclosed by Cotham School. Cllr Mark Weston, Bristol North West Parliamentary candidate said  "There is no need for the school to take this action".

"To help in this campaign we have written to the Mayor, the Head Teacher, the Council Chief Executive and the Education Secretary to stress the local importance of this open space and urging dialogue and ‘sense not fence’ to resolve this impasse".
