Dr Mark Lloyd Davies
Dr Mark Lloyd Davies, 34, is an active political campaigner in South Bristol. He is a specialist in climate change who visited Antarctica twice to conduct research for his PhD. Today, Mark is the UK head of the pharmaceutical Government Affairs and Communications team in the World's largest healthcare company - so is already familiar with the workings of Westminster.

As an expert on health, Mark worked as senior policy adviser to the Shadow Cabinet in the run-up to the 2005 General Election.

Mark comes from an entrepreneurial family - his parents built up three successful businesses from scratch, starting out working from their kitchen table and going on to employ scores of people.

He went to school in Somerset and was educated at Royal Holloway, University of London and Amsterdam University. He is married to Alexandra and is a big fan of rugby and football.
